Sex therapy with Sealing Cove Counseling

Sex Therapy

Sex Therapy: Reconnect, Heal, and Thrive

What is Sex Therapy?

Sex therapy is a specialized form of counseling designed to help individuals and couples address sexual concerns, improve intimacy, and enhance their overall well being. Whether you're facing challenges of low desire, performance anxiety, communication breakdowns, or past trauma, a trained sex therapist provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore these issues and find solutions tailored to your needs.

"Foreplay begins at breakfast."

Sex therapy isn’t just about sex—it’s about understanding how your emotions, relationships, and physical health intertwine. Our goal is to help you feel confident, connected, and fulfilled.

Who Can Benefit from Sex Therapy?

Sexual challenges are more common than you might think, and they don’t discriminate by age, gender, or relationship status. You might consider sex therapy if you’re experiencing:

  • Difficulty with sexual desire or arousal
  • Pain or discomfort during intimacy without medical explanation
  • Anxiety or stress related to sexual performance
  • Struggles with communication about sexual needs
  • Recovery from infidelity or trust issues
  • Changes in intimacy due to life transitions (e.g., parenthood, menopause, or illness)
  • Questions about sexual identity or orientation

What to Expect

Your journey begins with a confidential consultation where we’ll discuss your concerns and goals. Sessions are typically 50 minutes and can be held  online. Everyone is unique—some clients find relief in just one session, while others benefit from ongoing support.

We’ll explore not just the physical aspects of your concerns, but also the emotional and relational factors. You’ll learn practical strategies, communication techniques, and ways to rebuild trust and intimacy at your own pace. Our approach is evidence-based, compassionate, and always respectful of your boundaries.

Why Choose Us?

Our therapists bring years of experience and a deep commitment to helping you overcome. We’re here to provide a safe space for you to take control of your sexual health and relationships.
