I am a dedicated counseling psychology professional with a bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology and a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Currently, I am pursuing a doctorate in counseling psychology to further expand my expertise in mental health intervention and advocacy.
Since 2023, I have been leading a Psychological Wellness Program Development within the Department of Education in Puerto Rico, designing and implementing mental health initiatives to support students and staff. My experience also includes coordinating Mental Health Awareness Campaigns, where I have worked with children facing challenges such as autism, nonverbal communication, ADD, academic underachievement, depression, and concentration difficulties.
Beyond my professional work, I am deeply committed to community service. I have collaborated with organizations such as La Fondita de Jesús, providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness, and participated in Hurricane Relief Efforts in Puerto Rico, assisting those affected by natural disasters. Additionally, I have worked with the Banco de Alimentos de Puerto Rico to combat food insecurity and contributed to conservation initiatives through the New Jersey Conservation Foundation.
My passion lies in creating inclusive spaces that foster emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth. I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate and evidence-based psychological support, regardless of their background or circumstances. By advocating for mental health awareness, implementing effective interventions, and promoting a culture of empathy and understanding, I strive to empower individuals to overcome challenges, build self-confidence, and thrive in every aspect of their lives.
